Installation

Pre-requisites

IMPORTANT: This plugin serves as an add-on for Gravity Forms. You should have Gravity Forms (preferably, the latest version) installed on your WordPress for this add-on to work.

Installing Gravity Forms Styles Pro

Preferred method

The plugin can be installed just like any other WordPress plugin. The straightforward way is through the Dashboard.

  • From the dashboard menu, navigate to Plugins > Add New
  • Click on Upload Plugin
  • Click Choose File and upload the plugin ZIP package.
  • Once the plugin is successfully installed. Click on Activate the plugin and you’re ready to use Gravity Forms Styles Pro.

Installing via FTP

If for some reason you do not wish to use the WordPress dashboard to install the plugin, you can also install using an FTP program. Usually non-technical users are not advised to use this method.

  • Unzip the plugin ZIP package on your desktop and upload the folder using your FTP program to wp-content/plugins folder in your WordPress installation.
  • Go to Plugins screen and find Gravity Forms Styles Pro plugin and click on Activate

Common Installation Issues

  • The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
If you get this error when uploading the file you downloaded from CodeCanyon to your WordPress, it is possible that you’re uploading the Main file and not the installable WordPress file. You can resolve this simply by either downloading the installable file from CodeCanyon, or extracting the installable gfstylespro.zip from the main file and uploading that.

  1. Want to use in the development of church websites.

    Do you have multi-site package?
What is the latest WordPress compatible version?
How often will it be updated/tested to WordPress releases (I update my sites regularly)

    1. Styles Pro is exclusively listed on CodeCanyon, so we’re bound by the licenses they offer. If by multi-site, you mean a multi-site installation of WordPress, so long as the main domain is the same, the license should be okay. You can find more information about their licenses on their site. The good thing about the CodeCanyon license is that it comes with lifetime updates. This plugin is still in active development and we’re about to do a big release soon. We test the plugin with all major WordPress and Gravity Forms beta releases, so you can update with ease.

  2. Hi – I am looking at using this plugin for my website.

It is built on Hello Elementor and I’m using the Elementro Pro version (as a builder). Also purchased the “Prol license” for Gravity form.
Is there any restrictions I should know about ?

    Cheers – Nicolas

    1. Hi Nicolas,

A lot of our users are working with the Elementor builder and for the most part it works great. Sometimes we’ve had complaints that the Elementor widget for Gravity Forms wasn’t loading the theme right, but that’s more theme specific and can always be fixed by using Gravity Forms’ standard shortcode instead. If you’re wondering about the features, all features are available to all licenses of Gravity Forms.

  3. Hi, I don’t know if my previous message got posted so I’m asking again.

If I buy it, will I be able to use this plugin in more than one of my websites?

    1. Hi there, this is something we are also trying to get Envato to introduce, a multiple use license. But they only have a single site license for now. The good thing about that license is that it comes with life-time updates for 1 site, unlike the multi-site licenses which require yearly subscriptions for updates.

Have a thought? We're all ears!
